Introduction:
Story-writing is perhaps the oldest form of creative work. There are different kinds of stories such as Fairy Tales, Fables, Folktales, Legends, Adventure Stories, Stories, Stories Form the Live of Great Men etc. Imagination plays a very vital role in writing a story. Now in the new Madhyamik syllabus, the students are required to develop a story from the given outlines or complete story.
How to write the story :
a) Find a suitable title or heading for the story;
b) You are to develop the given outlines into a story;
c) Past tense is generally used;
d) Dialogue or conversation can be used where required;
e) Add a moral to the story at the end;
f) The language should be lucid, limpid and refreshingly fluent;
g) The written story should read as well as a connected piece of good composition, not jerky or disconnected;
