Principles of paragraph-writing:
i) The most important principle to be maintained in writing a paragraph is the principle of unity. Each paragraph must deal with only one topic or idea. The first sentence of the paragraph which is called the key sentence or topic sentence, generally expresses the subject of the paragraph.
ii) Order is the second principle of paragraph-writing. There should be logical or orderly development of the theme or subject. All ideas and events should be arranged according to their order or importance. The first and the last sentences are the two most important ones in the paragraph. The first one states the topic or subject while the last one sums up the subject.
iii) Before writing a paragraph, the write should think deeply over the subject and jot down the ideas or points as they pass through his mind. Then they should be properly and logically and logically arranged.
iv) The style of a good paragraph is clear, direct, sweet and simple.
v) Last, the written paragraph should be thoroughly revised to remove silly and simple mistakes.
